(OPEN DOOR) was recorded by (CARLOS GELLING) under the artist name (FLOFIRE) at my home studio in Taumarunui NZ whilst hibernating for the winter 2014, I recorded all instruments and vocals myself except for the trumpet parts on (Long Time Coming) and (Slaves To The Trick) which came compliments of (ALIX LARAN) my friend from France who dropped in briefly to visit that winter. The album mixing got put on the back burner till 2019 when I started mixing as I was busy touring Europe with my good friend (JONO BONO HEYES) and getting involved with other assorted music projects. Being my first solo album release it was a huge learning curve for me getting my head around the digital recording process. The songs were composed in conjunction with the recording learning process meaning they evolved within that process not composed before hand, I am much more confident of that process now so am looking forward to my next project and hopefully involving more collaboration with other musicians.
